• Arrays in Java are considered to be objects.

• Arrays can contain any simple or complex type.

• C++ like declaration : type t[];

• Java declaration : type[] t;

• Multidimensional Arrays : type[][]..[] t;

• Subscripts begin at zero.

• Out of bounds access throws an Exception.
