• final class :

Can never be sub-classed by any other class.

• final method :

A subclass can not override a final method.

• final field :

Variables that can never change, constants!

Two reasons for making methods final :

• Security :
  No one can change the behavior of a method (or class).
  

• Performance :
  Inlining.
